First, let's talk about the positives as Slammiversary 2017 was great. Both unification matches were great as was the opening tag team title bout. Also, DeAngelo Williams proved that he has a future in pro wrestling. And the worst match (Josh/Steiner vs JB/Park) was done in a way that while it may have been bad, it was still fun. I only made one warning in that Jeff was basically saying how great he and his company were with his actions and he needed to knock that shit off.
Time for the negatives because the Impact this week was fucking horrible and proof that he didnt knock that shit off. First, we are now a GFW show thanks to Jeff being able to coax Ed Nordholm including rebranding Impact Wrestling into GFW Impact. Second, the show just sucked with so many short matches and so much stuff that just was infuriating. It was the first time in a long time that I considered changing the channel (but I have a show to do so that didnt happen). And the cherry on top, during the main event, Josh Matthews outed that current WWE employee and El Patron's fiancee Paige (real name: Saraya-Jade Bevis)was at the ppv (she was, but she was under a Dos Caras mask as to not be identified). Shit like that made me give this show an F and if you want me to get angry, this show will do that.
